At the Lough Neagh Discovery Centre, we have a strong commitment to healthier eating. We source our ingredients from local suppliers, thereby ensuring freshness and supporting the local food industry.
When cooking our food, we use the healthy methods of braising, baking, boiling and grilling. However, when this is not possible, we use sunflower oil to lightly fry. We also supply low fat spreads or butter if required. We do not add salt in the cooking process but use herbs and spices to enhance the flavour. When Mayonnaise is used in our salads, we use the healthier ‘light’ option.
With the flexibility of our own in-house chefs and catering staff we have established a reputation for providing high quality and reasonably priced food. We do not compromise on quality and we can customise our menus to suit any group, individual or dietary requirement.
We cater for a wide variety of tastes. Local produce and fresh ingredients are combined to ensure your dining experience is an unforgettable one. We serve hot food daily including weekday and Sunday lunch specials.
